no, really... we're innocent

Dear Grand Poobah,

Thank you for your positive attitude and your will to move forward rather than dwell on problems. I welcome that move; however, with your permission, I still ask that "GuiltyParty2" and I meet with you briefly and at a time of your convenience in order for us to get a chance to present you with the whole chronology of the project, who met with whom, etc. We'll wait for word from you on this.

I assure you again not only of our best intentions but of our total conviction that we did not commit any wrongdoing.

Be careful...Pirahna are not safe...and on top of that - they're "boring" too.

From today's GulfNews

Best quote:

Richard, 32, from New Zealand said he bought two piranhas last November for Dh200 from a shop at Airport Road. Initially, when he started looking for this type of fish some pet shops told him they were not available in the country.

"Some pet shops were reluctant to advise me where to go. But no one ever told me it was illegal or banned, they were openly on display," he said.

"I had wanted an exotic fish that would do more than just swim around. They are difficult to keep because they need a lot of attention. Because of what they eat, the tank gets dirty quickly and it can get expensive. As a treat I would give them a live goldfish once a week which puts a lot of blood in the tank. Otherwise I gave them frozen bloodworm which clogs up the filter," said Richard.

"In the end one ate the other and when I decided to get more, I found a shop in Satwa that sold them for Dh10! In the end I found them quite boring and a lot of hard work. They eat everything in the tank, including each other."

As you know the numbers of mice started to be increasing where we found out numbers of mice are living  inside the SpecialPlace . Definitely such problem should be solved as soon as possible . Therefore we need to know when the contractor is going proceed in solving the mice problem ,otherwise we have to work quickly in this subject in calling the municipality personnel to deal with this critical situation which may  conforms  the procedures which  been  taken yesterday in order to avoid any hazards may occur among the staff and <School> properties in the future  .In this regard we will be very happy to report  the affected locations,  and procedures will be taken by the contractor , as well as the date of operations commencement  .

AKA - the EntitledOnes' Front Yards.

Dear HousingBoy: Thanks for your reply about housing -- would you please
keep us informed about both the availability of 4 bedroom units AND the
possibility of getting grass in?

Also, we've started taking the boys to the football field next to the
UberBoss's villa. Is it possible in the future to get a bench or two
placed around the edges for parents who want to sit down while watching
their kids play? Just a suggestion from the missus...

Thanks and cheers!

Safety First

Dear Mr. DoTheNeedful

As you know I tried the best to allot  a budget for safety Division ,be sufficient enough to handle the responsibilities of maintenance and training the staff .This budget yet not approved .

Definitely  you   know I am not the one who decide whether clean co be trained or not , where the procedures and budget are deciding  “Already explained”

Actually Non <School> staff training is the responsibility of the contractor , and not <School>, if you refer to the previous announcements of safety , you will notice that  the individuals have been invited  for the training were  <School> staff , faculty , and students . . You have to consider this fact    , and then look for appropriate solution ,by allotting budget to train over 100 clean co labors , as well solving the problems which causing fire , by developing the plans and programs concerning fire fighting equipments .

Kindly I will be very happy for sending a copy of the contract signed by <School> and clean co . Looking forward to hear you soon .

Best Regards

Subject: Re: Training for CleaningCompany employees on how to use the Fire Extinguishers

There is no way that CleaningCompany will agree or should pay for this.  They are not fire fighters.
This was for our benefit, as they are usually around in buildings.  As there are over 100, it is not feasible for either <School>, or CleaningCompany to pay this amount.

Given this, our only option is to give them basic training in house, or to ask them not to attempt to fight any fires, only to call us.

Dear Engineer TooLongToSpell,

As per  the instructions  issued by TheGrandPoobah. civil defense is  training <School> staff, faculty , and students for free University is exempt from the fees, which not including employees clean co , where the company must ensure that coordination and the payment of fees for each member of her staff

I would like to personally supervised the completion of this task, but the civil defense department would ask us to abide with rules in paying full fees for non <School> staff (460 sheckels  per one  )

I appreciate your concern in following up this subject .

Dear Mr. SafetyMan,

I would like that all the CleaningCompany supervisors and employees to be familiar with the use the Fire Extinguishers to deal with the Emergency situations.

They will be trained in different teams on the same day.

Could I request for a schedule for this proposal.

I would appreciate your response.

Thanks.

Recycling...

Dear SafetyMan,

Thank you for input. We are putting the Recycling bags in the Garbage room
because these bags are full of papers and for the reason to avoid any
potential cigarette touch outside so we always taking into consideration
security measures to avoid any potential problems and this is exactly what I
informed Citizen3 yesterday .We are putting in the garbage room because
Nobody will smoke inside.I Believe if the Security if to be applied , must
be applied not only to location of the Recycling bags but if this is the
view any other bag in the garbage room can be a source of problem .Anyway, I
discussed your point of view with Mr.Saeed yesterday and we will study other
possibilities ,then will discuss further with Mr.DoTheNeedful , and I will update
you accordingly.

Regards,

Subject: Fwd: Incident report

Dear Mr.SecurityPerson,

Incident report regarding keeping waste paper bags for recycling. Today we
found waste paper and cartoons kept in garbage room which is placed in
cafeteria basement. Before this waste  kept out side garbage room and now
this waste kept in side garbage room. This garbage room especially  for
restaurant's waste. These garbage drums clearing by <company> daily. But waste
paper and cartoons kept separately for collect by recycling company as per
their convenience. Near to this garbage room gas tank, waste oil drum and
surrounding all electrical rooms are there. This garbage room for keeping
waste paper and cartoon for recycling is not appropriate. Because this
material is not clearing daily and this will lead to fatal fire accident.
Photo jpg attached. This is for your information and necessary action.

Thank you.

Dear Mr. DoTheNeedful -

Thanks for the usual support and assistance concerning issues related to
safety . In this regard I forward the report which been sent by security
office which includes attached photos as samples ,and clarifying the broken
tiles in different places around the premises, in particular the corridor
area located between the library and the copy center Also one of the photos
shows drainage manhole without cap ,which located in the roundabout drives
to sport complex and free  parking  # 5 .

Although we are fully aware with the nature of the problems concerning the
broken tiles which reported at June 10,2007.

The below mentioned proposals ,are highly recommended so that we avoid any
hazards  for safety of the individuals :

1/ Change the tiles which damaged   entirely, and before causing severe
hazards to the individuals at <school> campus.

2/ Supplying new cap  for the drainage manhole ,which existing next to the
roundabout close to sport complex and parking lot 5 .

3/ Urgent checking to Make sure that the drainage manholes caps are
available.

We will be very happy to hear  you  concerning this regard

3. In front of free parking number five along the round about, one in number
drainage hole is not covered. We saw temporarily they placed wooden piece,
that is also gone in side the hole. Day after yesterday one lady student
